Dekalcer 2023 events:
Kalcer Nobar
The first Dekalcer program is Klacer Nobar. "nobar" is an abbreviation of "watch together". This term is used to invite people to watch something together, and this time Dekalcer is here to show the Indonesian film entitled "Before the Devil Picks Up", series 1 and 2 on 31 May and 21 June 2023. With nuances of horror, games, merch , etc., Dekalcer managed to open this event successfully.
3 Days Design Challenge
3 Days Design Challenge is a challenge or competition that challenges designers/illustrators/photographers to create work for 3 days. The aim of this challenge is to test their ability to produce work according to the theme that will be displayed at the exhibition.
LInocut Workshop
Linocut is a printing technique that involves carving an image or pattern onto a sheet of linoleum. The dekalcer takes a Balinese theme by forming several figures, such as Bali Starlings, Cambodian Flowers, and Prada Motifs. This time, Design Camp brings exciting activities using smartphones for photography.
Pre-exhibition
Dekalcer collaborated with Tangsel Noise in a pre-exhibition by displaying the works of UPJ students, this event also featured very interesting guest stars, namely Raissa Anggiani, Hanin Dhiya, Derai and Shakira Jasmine
Mural Day
This year's Dekalcer mural combines Urban and Indonesian Cultural themes, namely Bali. This mural was only worked on for 4 days and was located at Bintaro Plaza, together with participating student volunteers.
The Dekalcer Main Event is at the end of the event, namely Dekalcer Exhibition 2023 at Creative Box Bintaro for 4 days. This exhibition is held openly with free ticket entry. Not just a work exhibition, this Exhibition also presents theater performances from students, live music from local bands, talk shows, art workshops, mini games, live painting, and Karaoke Night as the end of the event. Photobooths also complement the excitement of this exhibition by photographing memories of the ongoing exhibition. Apart from that, Dekalcer also brings special merch for this event which is available in limited quantities, starting from bundles to individual items, Dekalcer merchandise is designed in such a way that visitors have the opportunity to take home pieces of art they like from the Dekalcer Exhibition.
